Axios Creative Access Strategies
Axios develops and implements Creative Access Strategies to improve the availability and affordability of lifesaving medicines and diagnostics. These strategies help open new markets where treatment is needed most, using business models that increase the number of patients able to benefit from premium drugs, while also boosting company revenues and thereby ensuring sustainability.
Axios Creative Access Strategies are informed by an in-depth knowledge of emerging markets. They rest on a four-step process that includes (1) the facilitation of access to medicines for populations with differing capacities to pay; (2) the formulation of effective strategies that empower local professionals to operationalize and manage the delivery of quality health services; (3) the development of sustainable solutions that also increase company sales and revenues; and (4) relationship-building with governments, providers, policy-makers, NGOs, and other community and opinion leaders.
Axios Mobilization Methodology
The Axios Mobilization Methodology is an assessment methodology that evaluates specific needs, identifies interventions, mobilizes local stakeholders and assigns responsibilities. The methodology has been successfully used in many fields, including integrated voluntary counselling and testing, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and access to HIV/AIDS treatment and care.
Axios Institution Assessment Methodology
The Axios Institution Assessment Methodology is a comprehensive and adaptable tool used to evaluate an institution’s capacity to manage drug donation and access programs. It involves all parties in defining objectives, outcomes and solutions. The methodology builds institutional capacity and provides tools for forecasting, inventory management and reporting.
Axios Integrated Inventory Management System
The Axios Integrated Inventory Management System is a flexible, easy-to-use, modular application that tracks drugs and diagnostics at the health facility level. It aligns with existing manual processes and automates reporting and forecasting needs to improve the accuracy of data tracking and avoid stock-outs. Patient data are integrated to ensure an uninterrupted supply of all drugs and diagnostics.
Axios Forecasting Tool for Drugs
The Axios Forecasting Tool for Antiretrovirals is an Excel-based tool designed to translate target patient numbers into required antiretrovirals (ARVs) or any other drugs or diagnostics. It enables efficient planning of new projects, the tracking of current projects, and the forecasting of existing projects’ drug requirements.
